Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective: 13 May 2026
This policy applies to all one-way drop taxi bookings made with OneWay Taxi through phone, WhatsApp, or our booking form.
1. Cancellation window
| When you cancel | What you owe |

| More than 2 hours before pickup | Free cancellation — no charge |
| Between 2 hours and 30 minutes before pickup | ₹200 cancellation fee (driver dispatched / on the way) |
| Less than 30 minutes before pickup | ₹500 cancellation fee (driver at pickup / about to arrive) |
| No-show (driver waited the full wait window) | Minimum fare for the booked vehicle |
2. How to cancel
Call or WhatsApp +91 93420 26010 with your booking ID. Cancellation is confirmed only after our acknowledgement — please keep the confirmation message.
3. Cancellation by us
On the rare occasion we cannot fulfil your booking (vehicle breakdown, no driver available within a reasonable radius), we will:
- Notify you as early as possible
- Offer an alternate vehicle at the same fare, or
- Cancel with no charge and refund any prepayment in full
4. Refund timelines
- UPI: within 2 working days
- Credit / debit card: 5 to 7 working days (depending on issuing bank)
- Net banking: 3 to 5 working days
- Cash bookings: not applicable (no advance taken)
Refunds are processed to the original payment instrument only.
5. Partial refunds & disputes
Where a trip is partially completed (driver dropped at an intermediate point at your request, or trip was aborted by mutual agreement), we charge for the distance actually covered plus driver bata pro-rata. The balance is refunded under the timelines above.
6. Grievance redressal
If a refund is not processed within the stated timeline, escalate to our Grievance Officer (details on the Privacy Policy page). We respond within 7 working days.
