Terms of Service

Effective: 13 May 2026

These Terms govern your booking and use of OneWay Taxi ("we", "us") one-way drop taxi service. By booking with us — by phone, WhatsApp, or our booking form — you agree to these Terms.

1. What we provide

We aggregate and dispatch one-way drop taxi service from pickup points across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Drivers are independent partners holding valid commercial driving licences and All India Tourist Permits (where the route requires).

2. Pricing & fare inclusions

  • One-way per-km fare published on the route / airport page at booking
  • Driver bata (allowance), fuel and the one-way drop are included
  • Not included (passed through at actuals): toll, parking, inter-state permits where applicable, hill-station entry fees
  • No night surcharge. No airport-surcharge add-on. No hidden return fare.

Fares are confirmed in writing (WhatsApp / SMS) before pickup. Any extras (additional stops, route deviations, extended wait time) are communicated and agreed before they are charged.

3. Minimum trip distance

One-way trips below the per-vehicle minimum (typically 130 km) attract a minimum-fare floor. We disclose this at the time of booking — there is no surprise after pickup.

4. Wait time

  • City pickup: 15 minutes free wait from confirmed pickup time
  • Airport pickup: 45 minutes free wait from actual flight landing
  • After the free window: ₹150 per 30 minutes
  • Midway halts: up to 30 minutes total per trip, included

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate pickup, drop and contact details
  • Be ready at the pickup point at the confirmed time (the driver will call/WhatsApp on arrival)
  • Treat the vehicle and the driver with reasonable care — soiling charges may apply if the vehicle is left in an unusable state
  • Carry valid government photo ID for inter-state and pilgrimage corridor trips (where required by authorities)

6. Driver conduct

Drivers are vetted for valid licence, vehicle papers and commercial-vehicle insurance. Any complaint about driver behaviour (rashness, refusal of route, smoking inside vehicle, mobile use while driving) should be reported on +91 93420 26010 immediately so we can re-assign.

8. Liability

We dispatch and coordinate; the operating driver/vehicle is insured under their commercial motor policy. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fare paid for the affected trip. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (missed flights / events / appointments) caused by traffic, weather, mechanical breakdown, or force-majeure events (bandh, flood, accident on route, vehicle inspection roadblocks).

9. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control: natural disasters, strikes, road closures, government-ordered halts, war or civil disturbance.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
